The founder of Paramount Health & Wellness, Dr. Mutia has spent 13+ years diagnosing and managing patient care across every stage of life, from routine primary care to complex chronic conditions.

Her clinical experience includes:

• Chronic disease management: Chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, and kidney transplant care
• Urgent and primary care: For patients of all ages, from same-day illness visits to long-term health management
• Mental health treatment: Integrated directly into your medical care, not referred out to a separate provider

That integration is the core of how she practices. Most patients are used to keeping their physical health and mental health in two separate boxes, seeing one provider for a physical and a different one, months later, for anything else. Dr. Mutia treats both together, in the same visit, with the same provider, so a conversation about your sleep or your mood carries the same weight as one about your blood pressure.She builds each care plan around the patient in front of her: evidence-based, individualized, and grounded in the belief that health is the foundation for everything else in life. That means listening first, testing what the evidence supports, and adjusting the plan as your circumstances change, not applying a template and moving on.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Mutia precepts nurse practitioner students, helping train and mentor the next generation of providers who will carry this same integrated approach into their own practices.
