About the Role: Paramount Health and Wellness PLLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including physical examinations and health history evaluations.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests (laboratory, imaging, etc.).
Prescribe medications and therapeutic regimens as appropriate.
Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation following clinical guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Virginia.
Certification from an accredited NP program.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to assess and treat patients effectively.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education abilities.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required):
Experience in primary care or family practice settings.
Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and hybrid care delivery models.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) while upholding HIPAA compliance.
Greet and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring comfort and professionalism.
Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient concerns.
Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and basic laboratory testing.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
Coordinate patient scheduling, follow-ups, and appointment reminders.
Manage front-office tasks such as answering phones, verifying insurance, and processing documentation.
Educate patients on prescribed medications, treatments, and preventive care.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent patient care.
Knowledge of basic medical procedures, terminology, and infection control protocols.
